Английская королева внесла Роберта Планта в Новогодний список почета, за что ему полагается и солидное денежное вознаграждение (мы так думаем).
Plant to receive CBE
Rock star Robert Plant has been recognised by the Queen in the New Year Honours list.
The lead singer of music legends Led Zeppelin, originally from Worcestershire, will become a CBE in next year's awards.
Plant recently achieved new commercial success after he released an album in collaboration with US singer Alison Krauss and scooped Grammy nominations in several categories including record of the year.
In addition, the Queen's New Year Honours list also awarded a CBE to jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine, while Olympic stars such as Rebecca Adlington were also recognised.
Earlier this month, former Jam singer Paul Weller said he will never reform his old band and revealed that he refused to see Led Zeppelin on their latest tour, according to Contact Music.
He told the news provider: "I've no interest whatsoever to go and see people reform, you know. I'm happy with what they've done at the time and the records and your memories and that's it really."
