What a great CD. The music is well written and reminds you of beatles era music. All the tracks are great songs. You won't be disappointed if you buy this CD. I highly recommend it. I hope they bring out a second CD.
Rainmaker brings the goods

Remember rock and roll? Remember pop music (that didn't suck)? Remember a band called The Beatles? How about The Rolling Stones? Water does. "Rainmaker" recalls the glory days of rock and pop recordings. Not a tribute, more like an homage-the CD is awesome. There are no weak tracks here (All killer, no filler). The vocals are equal parts Paul and John. The music is varied and impressive (these guys are experts). The lyrics are strong and hooky. Listening to it is equal parst seeing the future and going back in time. Does that make sense? More please.

Melodic, harmonious pop-rock with a fresh potent delivery. Ever wonder what the Beatles would have sounded like if the were raised in a modern rock tradition? If you listen, you'll find out. The catch is that they've infused modern techniques and themes into the music: drum machines and songs about suicide. I'm having a hard time believing that it isnt' Paul McCartney singing.

This Cd is great !!! The vocals, style, and combinations mimic the Beatles in an extremly flatering way. Easy to listen to and haunting in its effect.
Fabtastic!

Full of Beatle-esque harmonies and lyrics, this CD won't disappoint any lover of decent harmonious rock. McDonough's Wild Heart and O'Neill's The Sun Is King are exceptional. Harmon's guitar has a touch of Hendrix, and Reilly's drums out-Ringo Ringo!
Great album!

I'd heard the tracks Take Me To The Doctor and Black Elvis a while back, so I was delighted when I saw this album on CD Baby. The rest of the tracks don't disappoint - good songs straddling the worlds of rock and pop, but with extra twists that set them apart from so many others: slightly dark around the edges but still with an upbeat mood.
Beatle-esque songwriting and voices that move on by the past and present a solid

I have NEVER heard something so Beatles that isn’t the Beatles. The catch is that they’ve infused modern techniques and themes into the music: crystal clear production and songs about suicide. Beatles comparisons aside, these guys capture pieces of music that are both creative and contemplative, bringing modern pop and past pop together, and letting them catch their breath in a collage of gorgeous songs. I’m having a hard time believing that it isn’t Paul McCartney and John Lennon singing, though. Ringo must have added a couple pieces to his drum kit. Of course, the track on the compilation is one of their less Beatles-y numbers, but check their CD Baby page and hear the similarities there.
Very Good

This CD is chock full of darker Beatlesque tunes, One guy sounds like McCartney, the other like Lennon. The tunes are well written & great if you're a Beatles Fan. My only complaint is all songs are mid-tempo, it could use a couple up-tempo tunes. Overall this CD is special not quite a masterpiece but very satisfying

Heroes & Heroines rocks your socks, with vintage guitars. Black Elivis lyrical twist, Take me to the Doctor, classic Liverpool rock.
