Cosmopolitics "Mental Hygiene"
Matt Gader (Guitar); Ken Lovern (Organ, Keyboards); Andy Kroeker (Bass); Luke Stone (Drums)
Fusing unique song structures and improvisational abilities with all the benefits of the studio, "Mental Hygiene” secures Cosmopolitics as harbingers of a new sonic progressive rock experience.
Cosmopolitics second release "Mental Hygiene" includes old tour favorites (Ralph Nader is a Player Hater, Post Death Ho-Down) along side a slew of new, intense efforts (Robot Sex Junkie, Concerto for Organ and progressive Rock Trio) as well as shake-your-ass live favorites (Naked Dance at Seven, Random Act of Vengeance). Recorded March through December 2009 at Stone Lab Records in Lawrence, KS, the album features lock-step grooves mixed liberally with the guitar wizardry and organ mastery of Matt Gader and Ken Lovern respectively. Not an album for the faint of heart, "Mental Hygiene” rewards the listener by revealing new, cosmic depths with each visit.
