I have an announcement that I want to share with you.
But first let me tell you about whats happening this weekend.
Malcolm Dome of Totalrock Radio is going to be doing a 3 hour show
including an interview with yours truly. I dont suppose the whole show
will be interviewing me but you may hear some Nektar tracks and
comments regarding them.
The show starts at 6 PM BST (5PM GMT)
You can go here to find your local time compared to British Summer Time.
I will be driving down to London for the interview as it is to be broadcast live.
I think its great how radio has held on to audiences despite the modern
means of satellite TV and the web, of course they have made their mark
ON the web which is good news.
Maybe if you have your own favourite radio station that you regularly
tune in to, you could send me the details using the Friends of Nektar
page on the web site, that way more interviews and air time can be
given to Nektar.
Anyway, back to the announcement.
Regarding the ROSfest/Hilton acoustic show that we did on the Sunday
night/Monday morning earlier this month. It proved to be a cosy affair
and all who commented have said that they were glad they had not missed
it.
Well, for the benefit of everyone who was not able to be there Nektar
is proud to present, courtesy of Bob Jacobson, in our very own
Collectors Corner HILTON ACOUSTIC SET 2009.
It is in two formats, MP3 as one download (the entire show in one file) and
FLAC as 11 individual tracks.
We do have some video of the show as well but work needs to be done on
it to see if we can overcome the dim lighting that was used that
evening. If we can, then there will also be a video for Silver and Gold
subscribers.
If you dont have a subscription for Collectors Corner you can pick one up on the website in the store Bronze,
which will allow you to hear all the MP3s, only costs 20 per year and
currently has over 4 hours of unpublished Nektar recordings.
I do hope you like the acoustic style that we have in small gigs like that, perhaps you can let me know what you think.
So all the best for the time being, if there is anymore relevant news Ill try and keep you posted.
