Sorry for the recent silence, too much to do in too little time..
How're things with you? I hope 'good'.
A couple of things to inform you about.
For some reason the venues in Britain get nervous about three months
prior to a gig when the ticket sales have not reached a certain
magnitude, and nothing is different with the Garage in London. The
promoters have said "swap to the Borderline as it is considerably
smaller". So be it, they never seem to take into account that Nektar
fans are from an era when the walk-up was the bulk of sales and no one
was ever turned away on the grounds of health and safety. Today may
well be different but ageeably Nektar fans are like old dogs - never
wanting to learn the new fangled tricks of the bland modern age! And
why should they? Their era was responsible for the foundation of the
musical revolution that has since only really been re-hashed in forms
of lesser sounding repetition.
Enough Shakespeare! What you want are the facts! I know...I Know..
So anyway, the London gig formally at the Garage is now at the Borderline, again.
Any tickets sold thus far will be honoured.
If of course they receive a veritable flood of requests for tickets it will prove them timid without cause.
Tickets
can be bought via several agencies some of which kick back a slice to
charity and stuff, the Mean Fiddler (the presenter) has not yet
published the booking properly on their websites but all the others
have.
Next on the agenda is Nektar's next creation.
The writing is underway and plans are formulating for the title, it
always seems to take time to find the inspired title, but it is
sufficient for you to know that we are working on it.
Release date? Some time next year!
We have a series of interviews to share with you too but that is
proving to be a considerable workload to bring it all together, nothing
happens easily these days does it?
So, enough of my late night ramblings, I'll see you soon at a gig no doubt.
In the mean time, stay cool.
