This vinyl contains two archival gems from the early days of the Dwight Twilley Band. Both songs were recorded in 1973 and, in addition to Twilley, feature Phil Seymour and Bill Pitcock IV. The two songs demonstrate that, even at thsi early stage, Twilley and company were already producing great music. "You’re My Lover” is a catchy, mid-tempo number featuring an echo-laden piano and jangling tambourine. "Just Like You Did It Before” has a strong Merseybeat flavor with chiming guitars and Beatlesque harmonies. This is yet another great release from Dwight Twilley and Pop The Balloon.
