Эрл Слик, который всегда радовал нас своими талантами (и не только в составе команды Дэвида Боуи, но и в ряде других проектов - Phantom, Rocker & Slick и др.), официально присоединился к группе New York Dolls и будет в их рядах играть на гитаре во время предстоящего турне по Великобритании. Что же каается самих Dolls, то они обещают 14 марта выпустить новый альбом "Dancing Backwards In High Heels".
Guitarist Earl Slick has officially joined the New York Dolls as their new guitarist on their forthcoming UK tour dates. Slick is best known for his playing on David Bowie’s albums David Live (1974), Young Americans (1975) and Station To Station (1976). Less memorably, in the mid 80s Slick formed Phantom, Rocker & Slick with Slim Jim Phantom and Lee Rocker of The Stray Cats. The Dolls play O2 Newcastle Academy on March 27 and Manchester Club Academy on March 29. Next week details of two further London concerts on the Dolls’ March UK tour will be revealed. The Dolls’ new studio album "Dancing Backwards In High Heels" will be released on March 14.
