Вышел новый альбом Эрика Сардинаса, одного из признанных современных мастеров слайд-гитары. На новом альбоме «Sticks & Stones» он продолжает стилистику и тематику своего дебютного (одноимённого) в этом составе (вместе с Big Motor) диска 2008 г., который пришёлся по душе любителям жёсткого блюз-рока. Сардинаса сравнивают с Рори Галлахером. Ну, не знаем, насколько сравнение удачно, но то, что Эрик весьма талантлив и прекрасно смотрится на сцене – это несомненно. Мы встречали и другие его неплохие сольники, например: Eric Sardinas "Treat Me Right" (1998).
Eric Sardinas is a true master of the slide guitar. He is one of the best blues slide players currently recording. His new album, Sticks & Stones stays within bounds from what his fans want from him. This is a collection of mostly upbeat, blues-rock guitar wailing tunes that are best played at 11. Eric, at times, evokes the spirit of another great slide player from yesteryear, Irish axe-slinger Rory Gallagher. Sardinas has the same obvious passion for music and the talent to go along with it. "Full Tilt Mama” and "Ratchet Blues” will make any fan of Gallagher smile in appreciation as Sardinas is keeping the same spirit alive.
