Jethro Tull Celebrates "Aqualung's" 40th

Jethro Tull, the English folk-jazz-blues-progressive-hard rockers that initially formed in Blackpool as The Blades in 1962, will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its best-selling "Aqualung" album with a tour of the U.S. and Canada in July that includes a stop at the Greek Theatre in L.A. on June 11, according to its website. In addition, the group will hit Australia in April and Europe in July. Group leader Ian Anderson has solo gigs set throughout the year, including in Turkey in March, Russia in April, Mexico and South America in May and England in September. The band also launched Jethro Tull Official Internet Radio that's commercial-free and available around the world on the web, Blackberry, iTunes, and on Facebook.
