Сольный альбом Майкла Монро, но какой кошмар на обложке! Такое даже представить страшно!
Review: "Is it possible to say that I’ve found my album of the year in as early as March?
It may strike some as a premature statement, but just on listening to Monroe’s eagerly anticipated latest solo offering, its a justified statement.
Mouths were watering when Monroe announced his band line up: Ginger, Sami Yaffa, Steve Conte, Karl Rockfist, and an inenviable support tour with Motorhead more than showed that this group was more than capable of standing toe to toe with Lemmy and co.
Onto the album. It’s plain to tell that Ginger is in this band. His sheer genius songwriting shines through on songs like "78″, which has a riff very akin to The Wildhearts "If Life Is Like A Lovebank” . "Trick Of The Wrist” is a solid opener, and its obvious that we are in for a loud, sleazy dirty record, which has perfect production. "Superpowered Superfly” slows things down a bit, but has a very Hanoi/Wildhearts sing-along chorus which just sticks in your mind".
