Beatles With Tony Sheridan: First Recordings 50th Anniversary Edition
The Beatles first met fellow Brit, singer-songwriter Tony Sheridan when both acts were playing in Hamburg, Germany in 1960. The following year, Sheridan (who Polydor Records thought had the most star potential) took The Beatles into the studio to record an album. In 1962, My Bonnie was released, listing the artists as Tony Sheridan and The Beat Brothers. After they became famous without Sheridan, the album was reissued crediting Tony Sheridan and The Beatles.
Those recordings, along with a book of photos, artwork and asorted memorabilia, are being reissued in a two-CD set on November 8.
