Seventies cult band Pavlov’s Dog have just reissued their first two albums in digipacks with bonus tracks.
The band were renowned for the high-pitched vocals of David Surkamp and signed a deal with ABC Records in 1973. They were dropped within weeks of releasing their debut album "Pampered Menial" in 1975.
Columbia paid the same amount (500,000 dollars) to pick up the record and the band are still the only act ever to have the same album on the US charts at the same time on two labels!
Pavlov's Dog’s second album "At The Sound Of The Bell" was released in 1976, and featured members of Yes, King Crimson and Roxy Music.
Both of these albums have been re-released by Rockville Music/Soulfood with four and three bonus tracks respectively.
