Del Rey & the Sun Kings - 1922 Nosferatu
F.W. Murnau's sublime 1922 classic Nosferatu gets a 21st-century makeover from electronica outfit Del Rey and the Sun Kings, who supply an inventive new soundtrack for the silent horror sensation. With musical nods to influences Tangerine Dream, Popol Vuh, Rachel Portman and Thomas Newman, the score is Del Rey's follow-up to their successful reworking of Sergei Eisenstein's 1925 masterwork Battleship Potemkin.
