Американская рок-группа The Flaming Lips записала собственную версию легендарного альбома Pink Floyd "Dark Side Of The Moon".
Как сообщает Undercover, в работе над кавер-альбомом, проходившей на студии в Оклахоме, The Flaming Lips помогали группы Stardeath, White Dwarfs, а также бывший лидер Rollins Band Генри Роллинс и певица Пичиз.
Диск поступит в продажу 22 декабря в онлайн-магазин iTunes, а через неделю - в другие цифровые магазины. В новогоднюю ночь The Flaming Lips вместе с Stardeath и White Dwarfs презентуют свою версию "Dark Side Of The Moon" живьем в Оклахома-Сити.

Flaming Lips have teamed with Wayne Coyne`s nephews band Stardeath and White Dwarfs as well as Henry Rollins and Peaches to recreate the classic Pink Floyd `Dark Side Of The Moon’.
The album will be available for sale on iTunes from December 22 and then from other digital services from December 29.
The sessions were tracked in Oklahoma City and recorded by Trent Bell and Chris Harris, and mastered by Dave Fridmann. The album was co-produced by The Flaming Lips, Stardeath and White Dwarfs, Trent Bell, and Scott Booker.
Rollins and Peaches are all over the vocals on the album.
