Van Morrison is one of our favorite artists, dating back to his days with the band Them, which produced a number of great songs, including "Baby, Please Don’t Go,” "Here Comes the Night” and, of course, the oft-covered "Gloria.”
On their website Works Progress Administration is asking the world to spread the word about their totally independent, debut CD, WPA, by posting complete songs from it. After listening their tracks you can read more about this cool "supergroup" made up of members from Lyle Lovett's band, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Nickel Creek, Tom Petty's Heartbreakers, and more.
