John Fogerty To Perform On Mississippi Riverboat For Wedding Anniversary
In honor of his and wife Julie's 20th wedding anniversary on April 23rd, John Fogerty will perform his Creedence Clearwater Revival classic "Proud Mary" on top of a Mississippi river boat. Fogerty spoke to Pollstar.com and gave the back-story to the private performance, explaining, "I've loved the music from New Orleans all my life, even before I knew where that music came from. So when Julie and I talked about doing something special for our anniversary, even though we were married in Indiana; we could not think of a better way to celebrate than going down to the bayou with our children and friends."<
