Founding member of Pink Floyd Syd Barrett has his own official website. The site went live on 18th December 2008 and features a biography, discography, photo gallery, web store and a news section.
Of particular interest is the gallery which contains never-before-seen photos of Syd Barrett's original artwork! Definitely worth checking out!
Syd Barrett wrote most of Pink Floyd's debut album Piper at the Gates of Dawn and died on 7th July 2006 from complications caused by diabetes. His sister Rosemary Breen has been maintaining his estate ever since.
Syd was the first "front man" of the band and led them in their first phase as a band. Roger Waters then led them through albums such as Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon. David Gilmour then led for A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell.
The site is maintained by Pink Floyd and David Gilmour's management One Fifteen Ltd.
