The planned release of the 40th anniversary edition of L.A. Woman album has been nudged into 2012 (1/24) as part of a larger promotional effort dubbed The Year of The Doors. The January releases include a two-CD set featuring a previously unreleased track ("She Smells So Nice") and alternate versions of songs on the original release. A vinyl-only version, L.A. Woman: The Workshop Sessions has additional bonus tracks. A documentary on the making of the album, Mr. Mojo Risin': The Story of L.A. Woman on DVD and Blu-ray will also be available 1/24.
